I heart faces!

This is my entry into this week's I heart faces contest, and the theme this week is black and white. The link above will take you directly to the kids portion of the contest. A little background on this photo....You see my mother-in-law had all three of her boy's picture taken in this very shirt. So she wanted her grandson to have his picture taken in it as well. Well I decided rather than spending a good $100 at Wal-Mart to get some photos taken I would give it a go my self. Now it did not go exactly as planned, but I love this picture! Of course I had switched over to black and white and I was supposed to take it in color just like the other boys' pictures, but well this is my favorite. It is a classic Colton smile! Enjoy and please hop on over to the I heart faces site and check out the many talented photographers!

That's a great picture! I love the way you angled it. It amazing how just the angle can give a shot so much interest.

I really love this picture! You did a great job. I have never been a big fan of cookie cutter pictures by Wallmart and Sears etc. Sometimes we go to the Picture People but I think I can do a better job myself. I am glad you took your own. Very nice!

Way to go on taking your own portraits...this is much better than anything at Sears or wherever. Great job!

I really like the angle on this picture. The story behind the shirt is neat too!

Love the angle of the shot...and the subject--the tricycle and sweet little boy--super cute!

I am such a ding-a-ling. I wasn't looking closely enough I guess...it's clearly not a tricycle, but a coule of sticks...again, dingaling. :)

Still, I think it's super cute!
